Look, I know what you're thinking. "Inner beauty? That CANNOT be manly at all!" (or maybe that's just what I thought.), but I have done some research and have come up with an aritcle that I really think nails what my beliefs are (and frankly, that's hard to do.) : That men should be beautiful too. Many of these ideas and thoughts came from that article, because I truly thought i'd have a tough time on writing something like this, but a lot of ideas are from my head as well :). FYI: while women often need cheering up and assurance, men seem to need more advice than anything. (But there definitely will be some cheering up going on.)
The whole idea of inner beauty is having qualities that are not associated with the physical attributes of a man. In other words, having good character. Having good virtues feeds into how a man leads his life and that of his family, children, wife or even buddies! "It is only when the mind of a man conceives ideas that the outward body lays it into action. The man who possesses an inner beauty has some basic qualities listed below:
Kind hearted: A man exhibits kindness if there is a strong virtue of kindness inside him. Men who are kind irrespective of the situation, personality, environment or conduction posses a great measure of inner beauty.
Humility: One of the basic qualities of life is the ability to be humble. A humble man has an inner quality which enables him not to look beyond what he is or his capabilities. This kind of man considers other same no matter the standard.
Loving: Another quality of a man with beauty on the inside is to love. The ability of a man to love not withstanding the situation or condition makes him possess this quality.
Gentleness: For a man who is beautiful on the inside, he has to be gentle and meek in all his doings. Men who are gentle are not quick to react to situations and are always calm in difficult conditions.
Faithfulness: Most men today lack this quality. This is a quality which is important in the life of every man. This is because of the advantages one can achieve in being faithful to either family of friends.
Understanding ability: The virtue of understanding is unique in the life of a man. Most men lack the ability to listen and understand their family, wife or friends, but a man who possesses this ability has an inner beauty."
If you are a guy that struggles with how he looks, then know that there is more than looks that will 'score you a girl'. Girls may not look for qualities like these in high school, but once you get out of there, looks won't be the only important thing to a woman. If you take many of these qualities an exhibit them throughout your life, they'll find it very attractive! Really, you wouldn't believe how rare a man with these qualities is. A woman wants someone that will care for them, not necessarily look the best, so stop fretting about the thought that you might not look fantastic all the time! (Granted, don't give up on hygiene!) If all a woman cares about are your looks, she doesn't even deserve to know that you have virtues, too.
